Attend the one day Update Train the Trainers Course to receive the Annual Update Tutors Manual to empower and enable you to deliver this.

The purpose of the annual update is to:
• Reinforce the main messages from the X-PERT Programme
• Update with the latest information (such as clinical guidelines, medications, evidence-based literature)
• Review progress with the lifestyle experiment and support participants in continued self-management and goal setting

Attending the one-day course will enable X-PERT Educators to deliver the Annual Update Module to people with diabetes.

The purpose of the Update Train the Trainer Course is to:

• Reflect on delivery of the X-PERT Programme
• Discuss the QA process and develop action plans for continuous quality improvement
• Become competent with the content and delivery of the X-PERT Update Module
• Further develop empowerment, motivational interviewing and interpersonal skills.
